Model character of the planned solution

If we actually achieve our ambitious goals, we are confident that we will be able to create a patentable, technical approach that could serve as a model for other systems, not just in Germany. PET bottles are used all over the world and are unlikely to be replaced by a substitute solution any time soon. Depending on the level of efficiency, this may no longer be necessary with efficient recycling.

In addition, the technical approach chosen means that the system is not limited to PET flakes, but can theoretically also sort almost all free-flowing bulk materials such as regrind from other plastics e.g. PE, PP or foodstuffs like rice, peas or nuts.
