Objectives of the project
To build a sorting plant that processes the by-product stream/rejects of PET flakes with a sorting purity of at least 99.99%, thus enabling a closed-loop recycling economy.
By analytically testing the respective material composition and combining different techniques, foreign materials can be separated in such a way that these reject fractions can ultimately be recycled.
This would represent an innovation on the way to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly recycling technology.
